| To
use Mirror Dir, follow the below steps: |
| »Add a new task. |
| »In the task,
select the source directory and the destination directory, and
select the excluded subdirectories in source directory if
needed. |
| »Check the
"Allow Auto Run This Task" option if you will use
switch "-Auto" to run Mirror Dir and auto execute
this task. |
| »Check the
"thorough synchronization" option if you want to
thoroughly synchronize the source directory and the
destination directory, with this option, any files and
subdirectories exists in destination directory but not exists
in source directory will be auto deleted, so please use this
option carefully. |
| »Press
"Start" button to start synchronize operation. |
| »After
synchronization completed, a detail report will be displayed. |

| »Mirror
Dir will only copy those files and directories different from
source, with this feature, synchronize a large number of files
will so fast! |
| »For
the sake of "Full Mirror", it gives an option
"thorough synchronization", with this option, any
files and subdirectories exists in destination but not exists
in source will be auto deleted, so please use this option
carefully. |
| »If
you do not want to synchronize some subdirectories in source
directory, you can add these subdirectories in excluded list. |
| »Multi-tasks
supported, you can add all your synchronization tasks to task
list, select one or more task to run, the setting will be
saved automatically. |
| »After
synchronization completed, a detail report will be displayed,
you can get the detail information of synchronization. |

»If
you want to execute synchronization tasks automatically and periodically,
you can use the DOS command line switches:
e.g.
MirrorDir.exe -Auto (Auto start synchronization, and display
the result)
MirrorDir.exe -Auto -Silent
(Auto start synchronization, and display no result)
